Why do horses run
Because they can
Simple pleasures of life
I am , I am

In a cloud of dust
They're gone
Simple pleasures of life
No right or wrong

They kick up their heels
They fight, they neigh
Simple pleasures of life
They play, they play

Klamath Playshop: In the Present Moment

Coming in 2008

Tired of techniques that don’t work anyway? Learn what is behind all techniques in this workshop with Christine Cole at Horse Creek Biodynamic Farm, Klamath River, California

bullet Awaken your senses
bullet Develop a relationship with horses that is creative, expansive and bonded

Enjoy being with your horses and communicate with them in the present

Spend 2 days immersed in this “playshop”, awakening all your senses through play. Being awake is an essential part of being present. For the horse lover, being in the present is the only successful way to be with them. We will PLAY alone, with each other, and with the horses: we will experience and develop our senses of sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch and additional somatosensory sensations. The horses will be barometers of our ability to stay present. You will leave with an elevated sense of your consciousness and the ability to practice exercises designed to bring you into the present. You will discover that you can apply this newly found skill to other animals, people, and your life.

Horse-owner or not, if you feel ready to realize that your experience of life is self-based, this weekend will open your heart and mind to the many possibilities of being yourself in the present.

Christine Cole lives at Full House Farm in Sebastopol. She has observed and related with horses all her life. Over 30 years of instructing others, personal observations in the ways of horses, combined with the practice of dressage and studies of the mind and spirit have brought Christine to her current philosophy of “wholeness is health”.

Horse Creek Biodynamic Farm is founded on anthroposophical principles of Rudolf Steiner. We believe in the interconnectedness of all living beings and in the necessary balance between body, heart, mind and soul.

Fee (including 2 nights’ onsite accommodations, most meals are included): $ 490.
