There are many different aspects
to this beautiful place in Sebastopol, West Sonoma County,
California. First and foremost, it is a 23-acre mostly wild land. We
have invited the wildlife to be at home here and for that reason you
will often be able to see deer, raccoon, bobcat, and fox. Playing in
the air currents above the land on a daily basis are the graceful
Turkey Vultures, chatty Red-Shoulder Hawks and reserved, confident
Red-tail Hawks. All visitors are welcome to enjoy the private
walking trails that wind through the forest, oak groves and meadows
on the property.
We have two turn-key
vacation rentals
well placed at the top of the property for gorgeous sunset views and
easy access to our private walking trails. One is a 3 bedroom/2 bath
rental home and the other is a small, intimate Studio Cottage. Both
rentals are surrounded with lush landscapes. The large home has a
small waterfall and fish pond that can be heard from the
wisteria-covered patio and from the kitchen, as well as two of the
bedrooms. The Studio Cottage has a lovely wrap around patio on two
sides and a spacious deck facing the views on the west side. Both
rentals have hot tubs nestled beneath majestic oaks where privacy is
assured and views abound. Inside the large house there are seven
comfortable beds (2 queens, 1 double, and 4 twins) easily sleeping
up to ten people. The Studio Cottage has a comfy, double convertible
couch, sleeping 1-2 guests. For your enjoyment, there are
bookshelves filled with interesting books and magazines, a full
video library and DVD player, puzzles and games. The Studio Cottage
has a beautiful gaming table with chess, checkers, a felt top for
cards and even a roulette wheel. The large home has a stereo,
Playstation and video games, and satellite tv.
In both rentals the kitchen is
fully equipped and stocked with bowls of fresh organic eggs from our
own hens, locally baked organic bread, coffee, tea, butter and jam.
On the table is a complimentary bottle of local wine.
Upon arrival to either rental, you
will drive down your private drive and find the key waiting for you.
The best of Sonoma County awaits you here!

(Read
about Full House Farm in the New York Times.)
One of the most attractive
activities here at Full House Farm revolves around the horses,
whether you are just visiting or would like to become a regular
student. Harmony With Horses is designed
to educate "kids" from 2-92, with the horses being the
real teachers and Expansion Coach™, Christine Cole, skillfully guiding
students. There are mentoring programs for kids and inspiring,
life-changing programs for adults. This is not your ordinary
horseback riding experience, but rather a journey into the language
of the horse. Christine's 30+ years of coaching is a rare find,
unique in it's depth and insight.
Besides the horses, there are
sheep, chickens, and rabbits. Tours are available for small and
large groups. You can learn about micro-farming, organic foods and
sustainable living. There are picnic facilities if you are planning
just a visit for the day, rather than an overnight stay.
So, whether you are seeking an
outing with your family, a special vacation, or an experience with
horses that matches no other, regardless of the
season there is something here for you. |
